The past few months have been ups and downs... times where i felt the tip of the ice berg of 2 Cor 4:8, which were enough to tip me off-balance. as i read the verse, it reminded me of a book i once read where the author shared that the things that God calls us to, we are destined to fail... because only then we learn to accomplish them by relying completely on Him. truely, i can only live each day by His grace and mercies- renewed every day... and i'm reminded today that we are not at war alone, for every battle belongs to the Lord. and when He is for us, who can be against us? except ourselves. 

In my field of work and study, i've learnt of the importance of respite care for caregivers of various kinds- caregivers of the elderly, of the intellectually disabled, of the mentally ill...

Recently, i've been asked to be a sunday school "respite caregiver". though it's not my first time working with bunches of children, i realised it's actually the first time i'm giving class at Sunday School. Exciting! :)
